125 Years of ImpactCelebrating 125 Years of Impact

The Montefiore Relief Association, predecessor to Jewish Family & Career Services, was founded in Atlanta in 1891 in response to the influx of Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe. Its purpose was to provide direct relief and loans in order to help individuals become self-supporting.

125 years later, JF&CS continues to respond to evolving community needs. Self-sufficiency and improved quality of life remain core to our mission. In our 2015-2016 Annual Report we reflect on our past, present and future. Read the Annual Report
